X Factory wins at JConcepts SuperCup Rd2!

Thanks to Kory Ferguson for the report.

Round 2 of the JConcepts Supercup stopped at the world famous Lake Park in Lutz, Florida. The weather was hot and the new track layout was prime for some great racing. The track was loose at the beginning so it was hard to put the power down. As the rounds of qualifying passed, the track surface began to come around. In Mod truck, X Factory driver Leon McIntosh set a blistering pace and locked up the TQ. Leon also looked strong in Mod buggy qualifing 2nd on the grid behind AE driver JR Mitch. Leon got a good start with his X-60 truck and would go on to take the hard fought win. In the mod buggy race, Leon and JR Mitch would get away from the pack. Leon stayed a consistant 3 seconds behind JR for a second place finish, with JConcept's own Jason Ruona in 3rd.

In the stock buggy class, Kory Ferguson would take the TQ with his X-6 Squared. In truck, he would line up second on the grid with his X-60. When the tone went off, Kory would get a great jump with his X-6. A large pileup in the first corner allowed him to checkout for the win. In the truck main, Kory would make an early pass on the TQ Mike Applegate. A great battle ensued for the first few laps before Kory made a costly mistake, allowing Mike to checkout for the win. Kory fought off a charging Jader Lopez for that coveted 2nd spot.

The XFactory cars would be dialed all weekend long. As the traction came up, the XFactory cars started to show there stuff. My cars were really consistant and easy to drive fast.
